Up to $65,000 to start plus full benefits

Hybrid WFH - After approximately one month of full in office training, have 3 WFH and 2 in office days per week

As Buyer, you will:

- Receive industry-specific training
- Support procurement operations
- Communicate with suppliers by phone and email
- Identify suppliers with the best terms and rates for each purchase
- Negotiate and close sales
- Enter, process and submit purchase orders
- Monitor open purchase orders
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP system
- Analyze reports, purchasing trends, inventory data and sales data to guide purchasing decisions
- Optimize inventory planning decisions
- Coordinate with internal teams
- Remove obsolete and slow-moving inventory items as necessary
- Expedite rush orders as necessary
- Troubleshoot issues and complaints as they arise
- Source and onboard new suppliers as beneficial
- Contribute to product development processes
- Seek out cost savings and efficiencies wherever possible
- Handle special projects
- Perform other duties as assigned

An ideal candidate profile will include:

- Buyer / Purchasing / Procurement experience
- Related experience from a wholesaler and/or Distributor

Pluses:

+++ Packaging Purchasing experience
+++ An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree
